Sleepless night sketches
Joined Michael H. Cannon - Artildawn LLC's art stream. Theme was mythology (gods, goddesses, monsters of legends, etc) I only stayed about an hour but I was able to sketch out a fast Tikbalang and a Bastet (which I redrew afterwards).
The Endless (DC Vertigo)
Destiny. Really wasn't thrilled with this one, his look has two things I struggle drawing: cloth folds and drapery, and hands, I also drew some of his "flappy things" serving wine. Anyway, finally finished sketches of all 7 Endless. Now to figure out how to arrange them all in one artwork...
Portrait studies and sketches of Death from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman graphic novels
Dream. The Sandman. Dream King. Morpheus. Oneiros. In the Sandman graphic novels, he was this heartbreaker, and everybody fell for this guy, so I guess he's supposed to be depicted as a crush-worthy dude. But ehhh, the punk rocker, emaciated goth look sure doesn't fly well these days. I did a few updated sketches based on a Google Image search of "handsome guy haircuts" because that scruffy, long hair 'do ain't working for me. Personally, my favorite is the man bun look.
Portrait studies and sketches of Destruction from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman graphic novels
Portrait studies and sketches of Desire from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman graphic novels
Despair, Desire's twin, and another one of the Endless. A squat, naked, obese girl is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I think I did okay. I drew in some of her rats and her ring hook is visible in some sketches. I kinda wanted to draw more of the ring hook mutilating her face, but.... I guess I should keep it PG.
