Sometimes for fun, I flip through my old sketchbooks to get ideas when I don't know what to do, and I'm faced with how varied my art style is. The following examples are all from me:
In one of my art books, the creator says having a "signature" style will help you build your brand faster. I agree, but I've already reconciled myself to the fact that my style is totally varied and I can and will take on whatever look captures my fancy at the moment.
I love being able to work in a variety of styles and mediums and I love challenging myself to emulate other people's style or see if I can put my own twist to it.
Two different takes on the same character. The one on the left was my initial concept, but I wasn't really feeling it, so I remade it into the one on the right, which I was more satisfied with.
